Announcements - Trestle Board
May 8, 2025 (Thursday) 7:00 p.m. Stated Meeting. Dinner at 6:00 p.m.
Will Hold Special Election for Three-Year Trustee if
receive dispensation from Grand Lodge.
FROM THE EAST
Hello Brothers, and greetings from the East.
We will be busy for the next couple of months. Our GMOV is in June. We will be practicing floor work
and GMOV protocol on four Saturdays leading up to our Stated Meeting in June. If anyone is
interested in being the Marshal let me know as soon as possible. The schedule for practices is:
Sat. April 26 10 am
Sat. May 10 10 am
Sat May 24 10 am
Sat. June 7 10 am
I need to ensure we are ready for the 4 th of July. The Cooking Crew appears to be set. We could
always use more volunteers. We have had a good turnout for our breakfast in the past few years. I
am concerned about finding enough Masons to put together a Float for the parade. I need some
Masons to step up quickly.
The Trestle Board is out early as we hope to hold an election for the Three-Year Trustee. The Brother
elected in December is not able to continue. A vacancy was declared after the Three-Month period as
required by Section 5.244 of the Masonic Code. The Grand Master will hopefully grant dispensation
for our May Stated Meeting. If not, then we will try to prepare for the June Stated meeting.
In brotherly love,
WM Rick (aka Dough boy) Cameron.

If you need a ride to Lodge let me know and we will get you to Lodge and back home.
Brother Conway PM and Brother Hamilton PM have put on some good spreads so far. You will not be
disappointed with dinner. We need to see some new old faces.

April 15, 2025 (Tuesday) 7:00 p.m. Called Meeting for proficiency. No
Dinner.
FROM THE EAST
Hello Brothers, and greetings from the East.
I still need numbers before our stated meeting this month on who wants to go to an Aces baseball
game in July. Please email the Secretary as soon as possible.
I am looking forward to seeing more brothers at the April Stated Meeting. The Scholarship Committee
will be discussed. We need to make sure we are ready for the GMOV and 4 th of July.
We found the Child ID and Senior ID are working. We straightened out the user errors that were
causing headaches. We need volunteers for this program.
On to some great news, Brother Brandon is ready to do his proficiency. The Lodge will hold a called
meeting on April 15 for his second degree proficiency. We need to then get prepared to perform his
third degree.
Get your aprons out of the tubes and lay them out, as we are having a white apron night for our
stated meeting in May.
Brothers, if you know a brother that wants to be here but cannot drive let me know. We will figure out
a ride.
In brotherly love,
WM Rick (aka Dough boy) Cameron.

FROM THE EAST
Hello Brothers
We are here in the 3rd month already and July is around the corner. We need to nail down the whole
Aces baseball game deal. I need to know how many are interested in getting a section and dealing
with seats so please let me know ASAP.
We have a lot of things to get together for the next few months like the Armed Forces Day Parade. I
need to know who can and will help with the float. Also, I am looking forward to the float for the 4th of
July Parade. We need some volunteers to help with this.
Our May Stated Meeting will be a white apron night. Start looking for your aprons. Get them out so
they can open and become flat and wearable.
Thank you to everyone that came out to the DDGL class on Saturday March 1 st . We had a great
turnout from the many Lodges. I would like to thank all the Grand Lodge Officers for taking the time
out to help us work on our floor work.
I hope to see everyone at our next meeting. We are looking forward to seeing our senior warden
Cody back in Lodge as well. He hopes that he does not overdo it. Brother Cody is one tough Brother!
Thank you, to all that shared your concerns over his health.
WM Rick (aka Dough boy) Cameron.
ST. PATRICK’S DAY
For 13 years Brother Shattuck has put on a festive Pre Saint-Patrick’s Day Dinner in Fernley. In 2023
and 2024, the fundraiser dinner was hosted at Fernley Masonic Lodge #34 on a non-Lodge night,
bringing in many new members of the community. This year the great dinner will be the night of our
next Stated Meeting on March 13th in the hope that more of our Masonic Brothers can join us for an
evening of fellowship and fun.
SECRETARY’S SAD AND BEAUTIFUL WORLD
Thank you to all who have been getting the dues in. For the brothers out of town or out of state, let
me know by email if you need any help getting to a Lodge closer to you. The Brothers in Fallon are
always willing to help drive any of the brothers in Fallon to their Lodge meetings. I can help you find a
Lodge anywhere in the Country near to you.

If you sent in your dues and have not received your card, email me. Dues are $101.00 for 2025. You can send a check or money order to Fernley Lodge #34, P.O. Box 297, Fernley NV 89408. If you have any address, email, or telephone changes let me know.
If you need to get hold of me, the Lodge Email is the best way. I look at it every day. I check the Lodge phone once a week unless I am on vacation and then it can become two weeks. The Lodge has a new computer that has been fighting me on updates, forcing me to the cloud and auto saving. I will be sending out dues’ reminders next month.

Thank you to all that have sent in dues. Dues Cards went out for the
Life Members and the 50-year Members. Please let me know by email if you
